I know WordPress is the go to software for building a website, but there has always been something I don't like about it. Could be all the updates that you have todo.

Updates IMO is a good thing.

It means they have an active developer ecosystem.

I think most people go wrong with updates when they have way too many addons on their blog. I keep my addons at a maximum of 10. If I need to add an 11th addon, then my rule is that I have to remove one to keep it at 10.

I also audit the addons to make sure they're still being updated. If not, they could pose a security risk for my WO installation.

I know exactly what you are talking about. So I am sitting here designing a WordPress site with DIVI builder and start thinking something just doesn't feel right. The problem is I don't have the satisfaction I do with websites I use coding for, even if it's just HTML, CSS, and PHP. I get done with the design, and as I visit my site every hour just to memorize, I feel like it's almost like Roblox... just not as pixel. It does not feel smooth.
