Everything is going up.

The cost of eggs and milk keeps rising regardless of animal-borne viruses, yet eggs and milk has been the same since it was innovated. They've not made any changes to warrant a price increase.

The same goes with software. If they raise the price but don't add any new features, they're doing nothing different than anyone else.

It's just a trend now, a rather unethical trend, to raise the prices.

Yes, inflation is a killer, even Netflix is going up and they just recently had a price increase. I can see it going up to $50 a month soon.
