Howdy everyone,
My name is Shawn. I'm a married guy in my 40s from Illinois in the USA.
I've been running websites since around 1997. I started out using free sites like WebTV, Geocities, Angelfire, and Tripod-Lycos. Then eventually I moved to paid hosting. I remember when domain names were really expensive!
I started out making static HTML websites. Then I found forums - phpBB version 1. Still do forums today, only the paid platforms. I also blog and do some other stuff.
I've used every single type of hosting services there is from free to shared, VPS to dedicated, and so on.
These days, for the past 10 or so years, I've been using VPS servers.
Other than my tech stuff, I'm also very into the outdoors like hiking and cycling.
