Easiest software to design?

I have heard that Wordpress is he easiest to make themes for, but I think IPB and Xenforo are much easier.

Wordpress is quite good to design with! If I am being lazy I normally use the BlankSlate Theme which allows me to just add in the CSS. I then don't have to worry about the wordpress theme files!

MyBB and SMF are easy to work with but I think Wordpress beats them all

Not a theme maker myself. But I guess there are many resources available for WordPress theme making..

Mybb is easy but some of the changes they made in 1.8 gets it a little confusing.

I feel MyBB and WordPress are easiest to design. But i failed in both

@Jason I failed so many times when I was starting it isn't funny. Start with small things, like changing the css first.

I prefer MyBB to Wordpress when it comes to creating themes. But I have failed to at creating themes. Its just trial and error!
