I also thought it was an advertising scam to get people to sign up. Unlimited has to stop somewhere when talking about hosting. As you stated every server has a limit that it can hold.

Just like for example if you go to Siteground.com there is no difference between Wordpress hosting and web hosting packages, both our using shared hosting.
Yep in my opinion it's a scam, they normally have a limit hidden in their terms and conditions, so it's not unlimited. It's to make people think they're getting an amazing deal when they're not.
